| Player's comments: | Deen was born in Sarajevo on 12th of April
1982. He's a student of the College of Economy at the Sarajevo University. His favorite
artists are Celine Dion and George Michael. From 1997 to 2001 he was a member of the
popular boyband Seven Up that *almost* went to Jerusalem in 1999 with the catchy "Daj
spusti se." Today he is a twenty-year-old who has firmly decided that his occupation
in life is ging to be music. His first solo album has garnered good criticism and has
become quite popular, though he is quite one people love to hate becuase of his rather
strange personal image and flamboyance, which is a taboo in Bosnia, and only to be laughed
at. But he's a firm young man who knows what he wants and he tries very hard to get it.
Inspite of all the negativity he has become very popular. The album is a mix of dance, pop
and R&B and this duet is for me personalyl the best thing on it. Vlatka Pokos was born in Salzburg and is an Aries, which many link to her openness and resiliance. She starter her singing career in the group "Srebrna krila" (endless Eurovision links...), but that didn't last long and she has been solo for a long time. She is also a very successful tv host on Croatia's national television HRT and has even hosted the Croatian Eurovision preselection Dora in 1999. She has performed at Splitski Festival 1997, Hrvatski radijski Festival 1998 and ZadarFest 2002. Her hosting careers seems to be the one that really has taken off, since she has not really had any new music out in a few years. Video of this song can be found here. |
