Willeke Alberti  -  Telkens weer

Country - Netherlands     Player - Ruben

Telkens weer, haal ik me in m'n hoofd

Each time again, I get myself in my head
that I get the heaven, that is promised me
Each time again becomes all blue grey again
I stand disappointed, outside in the cold
But each time again, I think there will be the one
for which I alone live, give my heart too
with whom I find, that which I now do without
Love for always each time again
Each time again, hits what it previously was
again up with a flame, from the old axis
Each time again, as if it never cures
remains that pain, round what has been
But Each time again, I think there will be the one
for which I alone live, give my heart too
with whom I find, that which I now do without
Love for always, each time again

For that film she also sings the theme song “Telkens weer” written by Friso Wiegersma (lyric) and Ruud Bos (music).
The attention for her family gets Willeke quite out of the spotlights for the next period
In 1987 makes she a glorious comeback with the song “Samen zijn” and the LP/CD “Vrienden voor altijd”. Also these are rewarded with gold. A co-operation with comedian Paul de Leeuw results in 1992 again in a golden disk for the song “Gebabbel” and the CD “Een beetje Mazzel”; , with the hits Ome Jan and “Het wijnfeest” , is good for a second Edison award. In 1994 Willeke represents the Netherlands on the Eurovision SongContest in Dublin with the beautiful “Waar is de zon” the international jury unfortunately heavily underrates that. But it doesn’t harm her carrier:
