| Player's comments: | Already at age 5 Wolter Kroes had drumming lessons and started singing. During his education he became a soundmixer and stopped with it to become a professional singer. In 1988 he won his first talentshow with the song `Spanish eyes` from Engelbert Humperdinck. In 1990 he released his first single in English. But because English wasn’t his style he switched to Dutch. In 1995 he released his first album "laat het los" and he had two hits with the titelsong and "geen seconde zonder jouw" In 1997 he had his thirth hit with "Bolero" and released his second album "de wereld in", produced by one of the people from Marco Borsato`s team, Giovanni Caminita. With songs like `Zomaar Zomer`, De Dwaasheid van mijn Jeugd`, and `Het seizoen van ons` he established himself among the big Dutch artists. The first single `Ik heb de hele nacht liggen dromen` from his thirth album "niemand anders" became his biggest hit so far, and became number 18 in the charts. And now there is his fourth album "24 uur per dag" with the hitsingles "Ik wil je nu" en "Je maakt me gek" Surrounded by the best musicians, a team of producers and writers again it`s a typical Wolter Kroes album with happy but also emotional songs. Just like everyone feels someday. |
