David Fonseca was born in 1973. He lives in Leiria, about 120km from Lisboa.

He became known as lead singer of the band "Silence 4", that appeared in 1997 with a cover of Erasure's "Respect"
and then had a huge hit in 1998 with "Borrow". They are one of the Portuguese bands that always sing in English.

David appears on 2003 with his first solo album "Sing me something new", and this song "Someone that cannot love"
is its first hit. A big one, let me tell you. A very intense ballad.

Now this song was chosen to be Portugal's entry to OSC6.
